Dr. Alexia Konko,
Licensed Psychologist | Certified School Psychologist | Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner

I’m Dr. Alexia Konko, a Licensed Psychologist providing therapy and psychological evaluations for clients in New Jersey and PSYPACT states. My practice integrates traditional psychology with holistic, evidence-based methods that support your mind, body, and spirit.

I specialize in helping adults and youth navigate chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I also provide learning disability evaluations and ADHD screenings for children and adults. My goal is to create a compassionate space where you can understand yourself more deeply, develop emotional balance, and reconnect with the parts of life that bring you meaning and vitality.

As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner, I believe healing involves the whole person, not just the mind. I often integrate tools such as mindfulness, meditation, movement, and nutrition to promote mental clarity and emotional regulation. I’m particularly passionate about the connection between brain health and nutrition, and I pursued advanced certification in Nutrition & Integrative Medicine for Cognitive Decline, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Diabetes to deepen this work.

I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, where I trained extensively with individuals, couples, children, and families. My background includes serving as a school psychologist across multiple districts nationwide, providing assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention. I also trained in Pediatric Psychology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and completed research on bullying prevention, reflecting my commitment to fostering safety and connection in all settings.

My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in presence and mindfulness; learning to find peace and contentment in the “now.” Whether through psychotherapy, integrative health, or comprehensive evaluations, I strive to help each person build a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life.

Hi! I’m Dr. Nikki Sharoupim, or Dr. S.
